Big update on Melbourne based folksinger Jess Ribeiro today. Jess released the second single ‘Everything is Now‘ for the new album “Summer of Love” that will be released on April 12th on LABELMAN.
Pre-orders for the album are online from today on. We are releasing an exclusive TURQUOISE / BLACK MARBLE vinyl, limited to 100 copies.

Last week ‘Skunk’, the new movie from Belgian director Koen Mortier opened the Filmfestival Oostende. A movie about a teenage boy growing up in a family with lots of drugs and violence. Amenra frontman Colin plays the part of the father in the movie. Amenra got asked to write the soundtrack for ‘SKUNK’, which they released online last week. The movie will be in theaters from March 13th on.
After 100+ shows in 2023, Brutus is still going strong in 2024! The band had a US tour planned in March and will play some major festivals this summer! We just added Jera On Air, Rock Werchter and Dour festival to that list. All (festival) dates for Europe are on the artist-page.
New York-based songwriter Katy Kirby releases her second album ‘Blue Raspberry’ (ANTI- Records). ‘Blue Raspberry’ dives headlong into the artifice of newfound intimacy: the glitter smeared across eyelid creases, the smiles switched on with an electric buzz, the synthetic rose scent all over someone who’s made herself smell nice just for you. An exegesis of Kirby’s first queer relationship, ‘Blue Raspberry’ traces the crescendo and collapse of new love, savoring each gleaming shard of rock candy and broken glass along the way. Last year, DIIV got invited to do the support during DEPECHE MODE’s US tour. During October, they played 18 shows in support of the band. A one of a kind experience that they wanted to share with their fans, so they have made a live short film about the tour. The mini-docu includes two live songs (performed at Boston Garden). We are looking forward to see DIIV live again, during their EU/UK tour in March! All live dates on the artist page.
Post-punk trio Disorientations announce their new album “Lost Today”. The album will be out on [PIAS] Recordings on April 19. Second single “Not Here” got released today! The song combines their harsh emotional sound, the raw rhythmic power and the captivating vocals with more in-depth songwriting. The band has a release show planned at TRIX, Antwerp on the 10th of May, together with VAAG & Whorses.

Eurosonic Noorderslag, the annual four-day showcase festival and music conference across venues in Groningen, is coming up this week! We have two bands playing the festival:
– Shida Shahabi (SE) is playing de Lutherse Kerk on Wednesday (CANCELED due to illness)
– Hippotraktor (BE) will play on Thursday at De Machinefabriek (21:30 – 22:10)
Wednesday Doodseskader dropped “I Ask With My Mouth, I’ll Take With My Fist”, the first single of their new album “Year Two”, which will be out March 8th. The single comes with a great video (by Diana Lungu). We already announced a bunch of great shows for 2024 and we’re announcing some more soon! Check the artist page for all dates.
Yesterday Amenra played a sold-out show at Paradiso (Amsterdam, NL). The band is only playing a select number of shows in 2024 and one of that shows will be a headline show at Samhain Festival @ De Muziekgieterij (Maastricht, NL) at the end of October.
