Full tour announcement for JOANNA STERNBERG

New York City based singer-songwriter and visual artist Joanna Sternberg just announced the last dates for her upcoming November tour in EU/UK. The tour includes Le Guess Who (Utrecht), Sonic City (Kortrijk) and Pitchfork Music Festival London. We’ve added a second Pitchfork London show, ‘Le Consulat’ in Paris and the ‘Vale Perdido’ festival in Lisbon! Check out all dates on her artist page.

If you haven’t checked Joanna’s beautiful new album “I’ve Got Me” (2023, Fat Possum Records), you should definitely do that right now! For example, Pitchfork gave it a solid 8.6 score.

Sam De Nef and Camille Camille release their first single together. EP coming up!

Sam De Nef and Camille Camille announced a collaborative EP to be released this fall on UNDAY RECORDS. The title track of the EP, out today, also serves as the debut single. ‘Waving’ was the first song the two artists wrote together for this new project.

“It felt as if the song wrote itself, flowing so effortlessly and naturally.”

On their debut EP, Sam De Nef and Camille Camille delve into some of their most personal and introspective songwriting yet. These songs showcase their individual talents but also highlight the powerful synergy that arises when two gifted artists and unique vocalists join forces and create something truly special.

PSYCHONAUT announces new dates for Germany

2023 has already been a great year for Psychonaut! After the release of ‘Violate Consensus Reality’ the band played numerous shows through Europe, including some festivals like Motocultor, Pukkelpop, Arctangent and Into The Grave.

This fall the band still had some concerts planned in France en Belgium. Today they’ve added six new dates for Germany. Find out all dates for this fall at the artist page.

BRUTUS update: new song and 7″ for one year anniversary “Unison Life”

The year 2023 has been very eventful for Brutus. After releasing their third album, “Unison Life”, they embarked on a Spring tour that took them to numerous sold-out venues across Europe and the US. In the Summer they also performed at many of the largest festivals in Europe, UK and the US. For this fall the band has sold-out shows planned in Belgium and Germany and a second tour trough Europe. To celebrate the one-year anniversary of their album ‘Unison Life’ and this crazy year, the band will release a new song titled “Love Won’t Hide The Ugliness.” This song will be available digitally on September 14th and on a limited ‘Love Won’t Hide The Ugliness’ 7″ vinyl pressing (available for pre-order on September 14th).

Portland postpones the upcoming shows in Belgium and the Netherlands this autumn

Statement from Jente:

“Dear people,

Unfortunately, my recovery period is taking longer than expected due to a chemotherapy treatment. As a result, we must also postpone the upcoming shows in Belgium and the Netherlands this autumn.

I promise you that I am doing everything in my power to return to the stage as soon as possible and give you the best of myself. Oh, how I miss you all! I cannot thank you enough for all your support and patience during this challenging time. I look forward to seeing you again in 2024.”

More TOUTPARTOUT bands for Sonic City!

With the first batch of names, Sonic City already announced Deerhoof (10/11), Timber Timbre (12/11) and Moin (12/11). The final line-up release for the 15th edition this morning, included Decisive Pink and Joanna Sternberg (both on sunday 12/11) from our TOUTPARTOUT roster.

New at TOUTPARTOUT: Katy Kirby (usa)

Another new addition to our roster is the very talented Texas-based songwriter Katy Kirby. Raised as an evangelical Christian in a small town outside of Austin, Texas where she sang in church services, Katy Kirby moved to Nashville to attend college and began to expand her musical palette and belief systems. She started releasing music in 2018 and released her first album ‘Cool Dry Place’ in 2021.

Since then Kirby has been spending a lot of her time on the road (touring with artists like Andy Shauf, Julia Jacklin, …) and is working on new music. Check out her new single ‘Cubic Zirconia’ at her artist page.

Disorientations joins the TOUTPARTOUT roster

We welcome Disorientations, a post-punk band from Antwerp, to our roster!
Combining new wave with more alternative punk and noise music, their music became characterized by an intense and contemporary cold-blooded sound that comes to life during their intense and noisy performances. Their debut ‘Memory Lanes’ (2022) was released on [PIAS] Recordings.
