Juana Molina is a master of experimental pop and one of the most original voices in contemporary music. Emerging from Argentina’s artistic landscape, she famously transitioned from a celebrated career in television in 1996 to fully commit to music, releasing her pioneering debut Rara.

Her distinctive sound evolved through acclaimed albums like Segundo, Tres Cosas (named one of The New York Times Top Ten Albums), Wed 21, and Halo. Admired by artists like David Byrne and Will Oldham, Molina has forged a genre-blending universe of folk, electronica, and ambient textures uniquely her own.

Following the punkish EP ForFun (2019), Molina released DOGA in 2025—her eighth full-length and first collection of new material in eight years. The album took nearly six years to brew, a prolonged gestation born from three entirely different, fully recorded album cycles that were discarded before arriving at the final work. DOGA concentrates all the defining qualities of her signature style while pushing further into the singular: unexpected melodies, ethereal organic sounds, minimalist gestures, and repetition as an aesthetic. It is genuinely original and unlike anything else—a familiar yet surprising landscape for long-time listeners and an ideal gateway for newcomers.

Molina has toured extensively across North and South America, Europe, Japan, delivering mesmerizing live performances that blend live looping, electronics, and acoustic guitar into an immersive, avant-garde experience.
