During their US tour earlier this year, Brutus got invited to do a session on Audiotree, the music discovery platform based in Chicago. Audiotree records, films and releases live music from bands that get invited to their studio. Brutus recorded a “From Nothing” session, a 30 minutes session with interview and 4 live songs. The songs got released as an “Audiotree EP” and can be listened to on all streaming platforms.

Great news! Shida Shihabi got invited to play a showcase at ESNS 2024 (Eurosonic Noorderslag). Founded in 1986, ESNS hosts an annual four-day showcase festival and music conference across venues in Groningen, the Netherlands. The festival uncovers the most enthralling emerging European (Eurosonic) and Dutch (Noorderslag) acts ranging from mainstream pop to progressive finds during the festival, and sets the stage for leading European festivals. A great opportunity for Shida!

The latest LABELMAN (Toutpartout’s recordlabel) signing Jess Ribeiro (AUS), just released her new single ‘Summer Of Love’. The single premiered on BBC 6 radio (wit DJ Deb Grant) on Wednesday and was released on Thursday. ‘Summer of Love’ is a beautiful warm, piano-led song wrapped in hopefulness and love that came out of a period of tangible vulnerability and mourning.

Endlingr, the instrumental, psychedelic scape-rock trio from Ghent, releases their second album “Tra” (Consouling Sounds) today. The album consists of 3 tracks: Tra – Ent – Crest. Our newest Toutpartout family member Katy Kirby (USA), announced a new album for 2024. “Blue Raspberry” will be her second full album and will be released on ANTI-records on January 26th 2024.
On the album, Katy Kirby dives headlong into the artifice of intimacy: the glitter smeared across eyelid creases, the smiles switched on with an electric buzz, the synthetic rose scent all over someone who’s made herself smell nice just for you. An exegesis of Kirby’s first queer relationship, “Blue Raspberry” traces the crescendo and collapse of new love, savoring each gleaming shard of rock candy and broken glass along the way. A very cool announcement for Shida Shahabi! She got invited to do support for PJ Harvey in Gunnersbury park, this together with Big Thief and Tirzah. Gunnersbury Park is the only PJ Harvey date in London for 2024!

Amenra announced a show in Ancienne Belgique on the 31st of May in 2024. Doodseskader will be the special guest that night. Since the first show sold-out in less than 15 minutes, the band announced a second show on May 30th. They will play an alternative set that day. Psychonaut got invited to be special guest during the second AB night.

Another fine release in the Toutpartout roster! With his new album ‘#4’, Illuminine takes matters completely into his own hands: he wrote, produced and mixed the record on his own. Only for the vocals he asked some friends (Vincent Coomans, Marble Sounds, Hannah Corinne and Shellter) for some help. The result is a beautiful record, that wants to take the listener out of the daily chaos, into a place where they can find a warm and secure feeling.

Brutus has quite some gigs left for the rest of this year. They’ve announced all the support acts for the upcoming November & December shows in EU/UK.
For the Belgian shows, Stefanie, Peter, and Stijn personally selected the special guests. They want to provide playing opportunities to as many bands as possible. These are bands they love, people they love, and projects they want everyone to know about. For Stefanie, that includes Barno Koevoet & The Duijmschpijkers, No Prisoners, and Sugarbunny. Stijn has chosen Daggers and Astodan and Peter picked Ronker and Takh.

Explosions In The Sky starts the EU/UK leg of their ‘The End’-tour in three weeks. Today they’ve announced the support acts for the tour:
– Innerwoud will be the support for the (sold-out) show in AB on November 9th.
– The band invites TAKH to do the support in De Roma on November 11th.
– Spill Gold is opening TivoliVredenburg on November 13th.
