Oh My God Kevin Morby!

Kevin Morby just announced his new album ‘Oh My God’ will come out April 26 on Dead Oceans.

“This one feels full circle, my most realized record yet,” says Morby. “It’s a cohesive piece; all the songs fit under the umbrella of this weird religious theme. I was able to write and record the album I wanted to make. It’s one of those marks of a life: this is why I slept on floors for seven years. I’ve now gotten the keys to my own little kingdom, and I’m devoting so much of my life to music that I just want to keep it interesting.”

Check the video for first single ‘No Halo’ here.

But there’s more! We’re very happy to announce Kevin Morby will return to Europe & UK in June-July. He’ll do a run of solo shows and will also tour with the 8-piece ‘Oh My God’ band. Check all dates here.

Marissa Nadler ft John Cale

Marissa Nadler released two new songs today. One of them is ‘Poison’, a unique collaboration with the legendary John Cale.

“Sometimes it’s best not to know in advance; that’s what I continually remind myself about how this duet with legendary songwriter John Cale came together. Had I known that Justin [Raisen] and Lawrence [Rothman] would arrange for Cale to sing “Poison” with me before I wrote or recorded it, I cannot be certain I wouldn’t have become frozen with hesitations and second-guessing.”

Listen to this track and the second new song ‘If We Make It Through the Summer’ here.

Marissa Nadler will tour Europe and UK in April, check here for dates and tickets.
