Meet Holland’s latest outpour of fury: State Power! Thrashy hardcore punk that can only be described as “pure love, in its most aggressive form”

State Power’s first year as a band was an exciting one! The Utrecht-based hardcore punk outfit played a sold-out release show, a ton of shows as part of the renowned (traveling) festival Popronde, and a series of shows with John Coffey and Tusky. On top of that, debut single Gates of Hell was crowned ‘favorite track of the year’ by Norman Brannon’s Anti-Matter zine. Now, exactly six months after the release of their critically acclaimed debut, the guys are back with their second EP: Final Hour. It’s shaping up to be an ominous second year for State Power, and this track is just a taste of what’s to come…
