Nadine Khouri is a British-Lebanese musician and songwriter influenced by dream-pop, film soundtracks and spoken word poetry.

Her debut album ‘The Salted Air’ was produced by John Parish (PJ Harvey, This is the Kit.)

A haunting collection of poetic meditations on loss and transformation, the album cemented Khouri’s one-to-watch status; it was hailed by MOJO as “A thing of dark possessed beauty” in their four-star album review, celebrated by Q (Critics Choice) and selected as one of Rough Trade’s Albums of the Year. In the past few years, Khouri has performed in some of Europe’s most prestigious venues (Royal Festival Hall, Paradiso, Botanique, Eglise St Eustache, Union Chapel, Berlin Palace, to name a few.)

Her forthcoming album ‘Another Life’ was recorded at Hoxa Studios in London and is to be released on 18th of November.

“Meditative, spectral dreamscapes …  extraordinary voice: a fragile, sensuous instrument” – MOJO ★★★★

“Lush, dreamy songwriting with a gilded edge… Deliciously moody.” – CLASH

“Khouri’s voice is breathy, sensual, beguiling, meditative and her phrasing is a joy” – R2 ★★★★

“A pocket-sized book of lullabies, and gothic shanties, whose sounds and lyrics evoke a series of wondrous daydreams and sorrowful, mood-filled, late-night tales.” – Drowned in Sound

“The voice.  It’s the first and last thing you notice about The Salted Air, a dreamy, handsome, hushed album designed to be played in the blue hours of night, a thing of smoke and pearls and silvered mirrors and bruised hearts.” – The Herald

“Perfumed traces of Galaxie 500, Mazzy Star and Cocteau Twins… a wonderfully spectral incantation” – UNCUT
