“Marseille are a band formed in 2021 with an average age of 19 and are gradually coming over leaps and bounds to overthrow the ‘lacklustre’ sound of the post-punk indie scene. Breaking the mould and innovating new unique sounds to add to their repertoire, Marseille use influences from the 90s Madchester/Shoegaze scene with a fusion of colour and life from 60s Psychedelia and Merseybeat. The individual musicianship cannot be understated either; each member a near virtuoso at their instruments as well as multi-instrumentalists, which is where the band really excel leading to more room for innovation and creativity.’
