Man Motels are an alternative punk band from Cape Town, South Africa, known for their high-energy sound and fierce live performances. Formed in 2018, the band draws influence from acts like Violent Soho, Brand New and Drug Church.

Signed to Mongrel Records (Just Music SA), Man Motels released their second album Old Wounds, which earned a SAMA nomination for Best SA Rock Album in 2025. They’re currently working on new material set for release in early 2026.

With support slots for international acts such as The Devil Wears Prada, Dune Rats and Mother’s Cake, and a European tour planned for May 2026, Man Motels continue to push South African alternative punk onto bigger stages.
