JC Satàn started when Arthur, wunderkind from Bordeaux, met Paula, a composer and illustrator from Turin. After acquiring an audience and critical acclaim with their first two albums, they moved to the young Parisian label Teenage Ménopause to release Faraway Land, their third record. Troubling beauty, garagey roughness and a departure from the comfort zone are all part of their typical ingredients, and it’s no different on this daring album, released in October 2012.
