Crowd of Chairs is a Belgian post-punk band from Ghent, rooted in the city’s vibrant underground scene. Since 2014, the band has built a reputation for intense, boundary-pushing live shows and a raw, uncompromising sound inspired by Liars, Metz and Part Chimp.

After touring across Belgium and Europe, including France, the Netherlands, Germany and the UK, and supporting Pile on their EU/UK tour, Crowd of Chairs have become a standout name in the Belgian alternative scene. Their fourth album, Breather (2025), received critical acclaim, appeared in Humo’s Top 10 New Albums and led to appearances at festivals such as Left of the Dial and Sonic City.

Now operating as a three-piece, Crowd of Chairs are entering a new chapter, with new music recorded with producer Michael Neyt and set for release in late 2026.
