Marissa Nadler is a singer-songwriter, guitarist, producer, and visual artist whose distinctive musical world spans folk, dream pop, psychedelia, ambient music, and experimental soundscapes. Known for her haunting vocals, intricate guitar work, and evocative songwriting, she has spent more than two decades developing an expansive and continually evolving body of work that defies easy categorization.

With ten full-length solo albums, an extensive catalog of collaborations, and a diverse range of creative projects, Nadler has built a career defined by artistic independence, sonic exploration, and a singular approach to melody and storytelling. Her discographymoves between vivid character-driven narratives, intimate ballads, and richly layered arrangements. Balancing ethereal beauty with darker, more visceral textures, her music is at once emotionally direct and otherworldly.

Her collaborative work covers a large range, with vocal contributions and creative partnerships spanning an array of genres. Her tenth full-length album, New Radiations, released via her longtime labels Sacred Bones and Bella Union, continues this exploration through imaginative storytelling, textured production, and an expansive musical landscape.

Nadler tours as a duo with longtime collaborator Milky Burgess, whose instrumental arrangements have contributed to albums including Strangers, The Path of the Clouds, and New Radiations. Together, they bring the atmospheric depth and intricate arrangements of her recordings to the stage.

Throughout a career that bridges genres and resists convention, Marissa Nadler is a singular voice in independent music. She is currently working on a new album.
