One of 2012’s more underappreciated albums was TRST, the debut album from Toronto synth-goth duo Trust. The band’s since downgraded from a duo to a solo project, with vocalist Robert Alfons entirely at the helm; on March 4, Trust returns with the foll0w-up to that LP, Joyland, via Arts & Crafts. “Rescue, Mister” features a slightly clarified sound compared to TRST’s grinding grit, with some impressive vocal acrobatics from Alfons.
